Welcome to My April Playlist
My April playlist was more considered than the last.
In saying that though, I don’t have a specific place in mind for where this playlist should be played. I have been playing it in the car and in the kitchen while cooking.
Maybe it is can be unofficially titled – “Play It Anywhere Playlist”.
As per usual, I added an Ed Sheeran song, it seems to be the tradition now, along with The Kooks.
This month I rediscovered a little Aussie band, Little Red, that I used to listen to non-stop! It was great to bring back some of those happy feelings.
I’ve been thinking about Illy (another Aussie) and while I do enjoy a few of his songs, I am not really sure if he is any good – I guess that is up to you to decide.
I had been singing All Time Low by Jon Bellon but had been singing No No No instead of Low Low Low; it was kind of awkward when I found out I was singing it wrong (I have never been fantastic at remembering lyrics, I tend to either envy or admire people who can though).
There are a couple of songs I think are fantastic lyrically but would really love to change.
1. Symphony by Clean Bandit (Feat. Zara Larsson) – I’d love to have it with less electronic/pop music, pretty much like how it starts, nice and soft. I think the lyrics are gorgeous and her voice is brilliant.
2. Make me (cry) by Noah Cyrus (Feat. Labrinth) – I wish it didn’t have that sexual connotation associated with the water drop sound.
If you haven’t been following along, check out my other playlists!
Have you got a song you just love? Why not share in a comment, I love discovering new music and revisiting old favourites!
Please note; I just wanted to give you a preview of the songs, rather than just listing them and you having no idea what I am talking about. Clicking ‘Listen in Apple Music’ will send you to an Apple site where they may ask you to join. I am not affiliated with Apple Music.
