As I am in the early stages of this blog, my about section will either be rather short or rather fluid, but this post should give you an idea of what I want in the beginning.
I am passionate about food, from growing it, to cooking it, and especially eating it.
This is my special place where I can share with you everything I love, not just food, but anything to do with life.
I am a rural girl, so that will play a big influence on what I write about.
Why Angelas Jam?
I had been dabbling in a Direct Sales company, and I was setting up an Instagram account, it seemed appropriate at the time due to the name of the company I was selling for. (I no longer work for any DS companies).
Since then it just kind of stuck and I guess I really felt connected with it. When it comes to food, it could show my love for cooking (I did spend a summer making unusual jams), but I think today we use the word ‘Jam’ to describe it being someones ‘thing’, I did a bit of a google and here are some definitions.
- an instance of a thing seizing or becoming stuck (Wikipedia).
- Means: To relax, or chill out (Urban Dictionary).
- This word is also used singular as an exclamation of goodness or excitement (Urban Dictionary).
